I have 27yrs experience in retail management where in addition to running a store on a day to day basis, I played an active role at both district and regional level in the nurturing and growing of talent for a fast expanding business.
- Recruitment, induction, training and mentoring of new managers at all levels.
-Assisting in the formulation and roll-out of new training programmes for the district.
-Organising and participating in training and assessment days for talent groups at a district and regional level.
-Identifying new potential within the district and fast tracking individuals where appropriate.
-Conducting individual assessments to identify training/coaching requirements.
- Helping to create personal development plans to promote career progression.
-Participating in talent meetings to foster a consistent and focused approach to talent management throughout the region.
-Buddying other managers and inexperienced teams during the opening of new stores.
I have always had a passion for the outdoors and am excited to be part of a project which will benefit both adults and children to learn and challenge themselves in a natural environment.
